Description
The Victoria Texas Preview is an AJGA Preview Series junior golf tournament held at Riverside Golf Course in Victoria, Texas. The event features a field of 96 boys and girls ages 12 to 19 competing in a 54-hole stroke play format with a cut after 36 holes, where the top 60% of players advance to the final round. Typically, the tournament fee is $195. Entry is generally open to all 2025-2026 graduate players with no initial Performance Star requirement, allowing broad participation especially for emerging talent. Additional spots in the field are available through an 18-hole AJGA qualifier held at the same course, which offers approximately 6 spots for boys and 2 for girls. The tournament attracts players from several states and countries and serves as an important early-season competitive opportunity for juniors aiming to play collegiate golf.
